Research agent
Scans the market and competitors, building on your product brief.
The Research agent produces a market and competitor scan. It reads your product brief and combines it with the focus you give it, so the report is grounded in what you're actually building.
What you share to start
Describe what you want the research to focus on (up to 1,500 characters) and add any supporting notes you already have. The agent reads your product brief automatically as its starting point.
Research builds on the Product Brief, so you need a brief that's at least submitted for review before you can start. The agent pulls it in for you — you don't paste it again.
Already have a research report? You don't have to generate it — paste what you have and save it, and it goes straight to review. See Greenfield and brownfield.
How the turns work
As with the brief, the agent asks a round or two of questions on the page to pin down scope and audience, then writes the report. You drive the conversation; the rest of the workspace watches read-only.
The ask-and-answer step repeats until the agent has enough to write the draft. After the draft, sending revision notes reopens the same conversation.
Accepting the result
The report lands in review for anyone in the workspace to accept, and stays editable by you or an admin. An accepted report becomes extra context for the MVP Plan agent.
Good to know
-
While a run is going, only the person who started it can answer — everyone else in the workspace follows along read-only.
-
If a run stalls or you change your mind, you can cancel it, then restart or resume from where it left off.
-
Fragua lets you know when a draft is ready or a run fails, so you don't have to sit and watch it.
-
An admin can undo an acceptance to send a document back to review.
